Low-energy, low-waste forms of entertainment (as brainstormed by the Footstep 11 participants)

1. Sport
2. Reading
3. Playing the guitar
4. Gardening
5. Trekking/Walking
6. Arts & Crafts
7. Writing letters
8. Playing board games
9. Cleaning
10. Swimming/sunbathing
11. Visiting friends
12. Sightseeing
13. Theatre
14. Birdwatching
15. Camping
16. Fishing
17. Meditation
18. Astronomy
19. Looking after a pet
20. SEX

These are all activities that could or could not use lots of electricity, create waste or pollute. When choosing low energy entertainment alternatives, try to do them in an environmentally-friendly way as possible (e.g. if you're reading a book use natural light or if it's dark use one low energy lightbulb).
