9 youth participants landed safely in Montego Bay last night. Four from the UK, 2 from Poland, 2 from Russia and 1 from Turkey. Most were transferred to local host families, however a few had to overnight on campus at Moneague College. After a good night's sleep, the college youth (including Basia from Torun and Sule Bayrak from Trabzon) were up early to enjoy the Jamaican breakfast!
On a downer, we are desperately trying to get 2 African youth to the conference. Betty from Kenya and Lonia from South Africa are both currently having visa and travel problems which is delaying their arrival times. The Footstep 11 team here remain forever optimistic that they will both eventually come!
